The Bahamas is becoming a real hot spot for people all around the globe, and Brazilians are no strangers to this fact. With so many Brazilian expats living here, one can only ask, “Why?” Well,
I’m here to answer that question for you.
Many Brazilians moving to The Bahamas are skeptical, not knowing what to expect. They have no idea what it’s like to live here, and they’re not sure what it would be like for their family. Relocating can be a very tricky task, but luckily, there are a lot of activities that The Bahamas has to offer.
The Bahamas’ nightlife alone is one of the main reasons Brazilians love it here. With clubs like Senor Frogs and Tropicana within walking distance of each other, there’ll never be a weekend that goes by without dancing involved. With Senor frogs playing the best in Reggaeton, and Tropicana hosting their weekly Salsa nights, making time to go out and have a great time has never been so fun!
The Bahamas is also very big on playing football (soccer). We have our own football clubs from age 6 all the way up to age 20, so Brazilians will have no trouble getting their children involved in a sporting activity. We have our own football fields, and just recently, The Bahamas hosted an exhibition game between Tottenham and Jamaica in the newly build Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium. You can read more about this event here.
Food is another thing that we Bahamians love, and it sure is something that Brazilians love as well. Good thing The Bahamas has a wide array of restaurants to choose from. We have Bahamian restaurants, Italian restaurants, Thai restaurants, Japanese restaurants, Chinese restaurants, American restaurants, Mexican restaurants, you name it, we have it! With so many options, the hardest decision to make is not what to order, but where to go.
