Dana Pinder was Mario Carey Realty’s Top Producer Award Recipient for 2013. She was born in Springfield, Missouri and has lived in Long Island, New York, Jefferson City, Perry, Springfield, Missouri, and Victoria, Texas. Dana moved to The Bahamas 27 years ago. Before moving to Nassau, she worked as a hairdresser for 14 years. Once on the island, she worked in accounting at Pinder Tile, and was a stay at home mother to her three children for many years.
Dana was always involved in her children’s lives. She took them to all of their horseback riding, piano, dance, and swim lessons. She attended Christ Church Cathedral, and was involved in the Church’s coffee mornings, visitations for the sick, and shut ins. Dana was also a member of The American Women’s Club for many years.
Her family loves to boat to the out islands, swim, enjoy local Bahamian culture, and travel. Dana absolutely loves traveling around the world and learning about as many cultures as she can. Among other hobbies, she enjoys reading, watching movies, doing yoga and Pilates, exploring, hiking, and participating in outdoor activities.
Dana made a career move into real estate over 8 years ago. She considers herself a “people person” and enjoys meeting people and learning about their background. Real estate, especially in the Bahamas, gives Dana the chance to meet people from all over the world.
“I chose this profession to have a chance to help people find the home of their dreams, and to prove to myself that once again I could do something on my own, rather than as a wife and mother.”
Dana is unique because she loves people. She loves meeting them, getting to know them, understanding where they come from, and learning what their likes and dislikes are. Dana truly enjoys the peaceful, blue, turquoise Bahamian waters, and the white or pink sandy beaches of the many beautiful Bahamian Islands. She loves The Bahamas, real estate, and Mario Carey Realty.
Congratulations on being MCR’s Top Producer of the year Dana; you deserve it!
