The Kiwanis Club of Over The Hill concluded its reading project today at the Coconut Grove Pre-School. During the school year, members of the club visited the school and read stories to the students, whose ages range from 3 – 5 years old. The goal of the project is to help the children develop an interest in reading, which, in turn, aids the educational, mental and social development of the children.

When the reading project began in 2008, Raymond was instrumental in getting the project off the ground, visiting the pre-school every week to read, and developing a rapport with the children. He was delighted to be a part of today’s concluding exercise, which also saw the club donate colouring books and crayons to the students.
