The show, “Resto del Mundo”, is aired on Canal 13 TV Channel throughout Latin America. It is a show about travel, tourism, culture, history, lifestyle and entertainment. The show is seen in 60 million homes, with an average rating of 13 million viewers each Sunday during prime time. Resto del Mundo originated in Argentina, but is also broadcasted in Brazil, México, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Central America and the Caribbean. The goal of the show is to promote tourism in Latin America.
Ivan de Pineda Gualdoni, world famous fashion model, film actor, and TV host, is the Host of Resto del Mundo. He modeled for Gucci, Dior, Chanel, Diesel, DKNY, Kenzo, Moschino, and Versace, just to name a few. He made his television debut in the 2000 series Calientes, playing the character of Nacho, and in 2005 debuted on Argentine cinema. His 2007 film, Cuando Ella Saltó, garnered him a Best New Actor award at the 2008 Silver Condor awards.
Ivan and his crew decided that The Bahamas would be their next destination of choice to feature in the show. They wanted two episodes for their 10th consecutive season to be filmed in Nassau and Exuma from October 20-26th; their focus would be Luxury Yachts and Homes. Naturally, they knew who to call—Mario Carey Realty (MCR). Tina Bain, Vacation Rentals and Property Management Specialist at MCR, contacted her client, Peter Vazquez, Yacht owner and Captain, and requested film time for the crew on his beautiful 132ft Yacht, Sea Dreams. Mr.Vazquez welcomed Ivan, Luz Barrantes, Manager Host, Carlos Perez Benito, Cameraman, Diego Cevasco, Producer, and Raquel Carey, Bahamas Tourist Office Escort, to film on Sea Dreams. MCR’s staff, Tina Bain, Terrinique Pennerman (Marketing Manager), and Colleen Carey (Marketing Assistant) met and welcomed the Crew on Sea Dreams. Mr. Vazquez’s beauty covered their film time for luxury yachts; it was time to move to luxury homes.
Prince Lewis, Mario Carey’s Assistant, contacted an Ocean Club Estates Owner and Mario Carey’s Client, to get the crew film time at Sea Level— a 22 million dollar, waterfront home in the famous Ocean Club Estates. The Owner agreed, and Resto del Mundo’s crew spent the afternoon filming in absolute luxury. Sea Level is a 6 bedroom, 10 bathroom, 17,247 sq.ft. wonder overlooking Nassau’s Harbor. With more than 153ft of water frontage, this is a boaters dream, as 2 large yachts can fit in the house’s back yard. The crew was more than happy to film at this luxury home. They thanked Mario Carey for being in some of the screen shots and MCR for being their Luxury Specialists.
